Dhanush’s Maari 2 to clash with Vijay’s Sarkar?

Dhanush has now completed shooting for couple of movies – Maari 2 and Vada Chennai. It was earlier expected that Vada Chennai will be releasing as Dhanush’s birthday treat on July 28. But then, it was clarified that the Vetrimaaran directorial would be a September release and the trailer will release on July 28 as birthday celebration. Recently, Dhanush completed shooting for his other film ‘Maari 2’. It is noteworthy that the actor had injured himself while shooting climax action sequence with Tovino Thomas. According to the latest reports, it is learnt that Dhanush is planning to release Maari 2 for the festive occasion of Diwali. Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead role in this movie, which has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Kreshna and Tovino Thomas in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music and Velraj is the cinematographer.
