Karthi confirms next with Irumbu Thirai Mithran

Filmmaker PS Mithran might have gone through the roughest phase in his career for 3 years making involving in Vishal-Samantha starrer ‘Irumbu Thirai’. Nevertheless, he is basked in glory over the success of this movie, which is spinning decent profits in box office and has won the critical acclaims as well. It is worth mentioning that the director had got his directorial opportunity for his next even before the release of Irumbu Thirai. The film tentatively titled ‘7 Kinaru’ will feature Udhayanidhi Stalin and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles. Now it is officially confirmed that Mithran will be directing Karthi 18, which will be produced by Lakshman of Prince Pictures. Lakshman happens to be the producer of Singam 2, Trisha’s Mohini and Karthi 17.
