“Theeran will be a different cop story from usual ones” – Karthi

Actor Karthi has been choosing the best pick of scripts and he confidently utters that he would experimenting with movies like Kaashmora. He is now keeping his fingers crossed with his upcoming film ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ directed by Vinoth. The film stars Rakul Preet Singh in female lead role and is scheduled for release on November 17. The film has been certified with UA and is having a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu. When asked there are so many cop movies, how different would it be now? Karthi replies saying, “Theeran will be a different cop story from usual and routine ones. The movie is based on many real life incidents that happened between 1995 and 2005. It will change the perception among people about police department.”
