Dil Raju replaced by Lyca for Indian 2

Over an unexpected turn of proceeding in the initial stages of pre-production, Indian 2 undergoes a major change. Dil Raj who had initially landed up to produce the film is likely stepping out due to heavy demand of AM Ratnam. The latter had produced the 1996 blockbuster hit Indian and is demanding a huge royalty.

Moreover, the remuneration of Shankar and Kamal Haasan is getting beyond unimaginable numbers as well. At this situation, the project is getting shifted to the hands of Lyca Productions, which is now bankrolling Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 2.O.

The official word on this can be expected shortly, maybe during the audio launch of 2.0 happening on October 27.
