Jigarthanda remake goes to Bollywood now

Jigarthanda remains to be a special film in the pages of Tamil cinema for its intellectual make of screenplay and narrative part. Karthik Subbaraj carved a niche for himself through this movie, which also won National awards for Bobby Simha in Supporting Role. Now the film is going for Bollywood remake, which reportedly has Ajay Devgn bagging remake rights. If what we hear from the close sources is believed to be true, Farhan Akhtar will be seen essaying the role that was played by Siddharth and Sanjay Dutt in the role of Assault Sethu. It is learnt that Nishikant Kamat has been signed to helm the project, which will start rolling from December.
