Bhaskar the Rascal remake gets Pawan Kalyan’s heroine now
Filmmaker Siddiqui has been the one among the rarest filmmakers of Indian film industry, who has proved his success with a single script and its successful remake versions in different languages over the years. It is getting illustrious with his upcoming film ‘Bhaskar The Rascal’ as well. The original version in Malayalam titled ‘Bhaskar The Rascal’ featuring Mammootty and Nayantara in lead roles was a blockbuster hit. It was mentioned some big names like Rajinikanth or Ajith Kumar would be featured in the lead roles for this Tamil remake. But lately in time, Arvind Swamy bagged the opportunity and shoot is close on the heels of completion.
Amala Paul is playing the female lead role that was performed by Nayantara in the original version.
Recently, the sequences involving almost everyone in the crew along with actress Nikesha Patel was shot. She made her debut in cinema through SJ Suryah’s Komaram Puli. She plays a cameo role as an actress and throwing some lights on this role, she says, “It’s almost like a cameo, but these portions involving me will be a turning point in the tale. Working with Arvind Swamy was a real big moment. He is so kind hearted and reminded me off how humble Pawan Kalyan was while making my debut with his movie ‘Puli’…”
