Mohanlal’s next after Kabali is with Dhanush

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has been actively involved in the release and distribution of some great Tamil movies. Last year, he acquired the Kerala rights of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali for a whopping price. Now he is buying Dhanush-Kajol starrer Velai Illa Pattadhaari 2, which is scheduled for release on August 11. The film will be release by Mohanlal’s Aashirvad Cinemas in collaboration with his manager Antony Perumbavoor’s Max Lab. It is learnt that the film will be releasing in more than 200 screens across Kerala.

Over here, Kalaipuli S Thanu is releasing the film in Chengalpat area while SPI Cinemas is taking over the terrain of Chennai.

The special shows in Chennai and Chengalpat areas are commencing by early 5 a.m. on first day.
