Vanamagan release postponed due to Vishal’s advice

Jayam Ravi-Sayyeshaa starrer Vanamagan directed by Vijay has been now certified with clean ‘U’ and the makers are pretty sure that family audiences will have a great experience watching it. Apparently, there happens to be the confirmed release date from the official press note of Think Big Studios, who have bankrolled the project. According to them, although the film is ready for release, the makers have decided to push it to June 23. It seems that Vishal had advised the team to keep it stalled for release till that date as Tamil Film Producers Council planning for a strike from May 30 with no new releases and cancellation of shooting. Since there would be just 11 days left, it doesn’t offer them appropriate time to release the movie.
