“Manirathnam sir would be scared all the time” – Karthi

Actor Karthi seems to be a pretty happy man in town now and he is so much confident that his upcoming film ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ has the best from his store. “I wouldn’t credit anything for my performance, it’s been a natural process implemented through the vision and craftsmanship of Maniratnam sir. Every morning on the sets, he would be so much concerned saying, “I am scared on how I am going to stage this scene. I must be sure that I shouldn’t repeat any of my previous works.” The film has been a greater learning experience to me,” says Karthi.

On her part, Aditi Rao Hydari playing the female lead role in this movie says that Maniratnam happens to be one among very few moviemakers, who gives intense important to female characterizations in the movies.

Kaatru Veliyidai will have a worldwide release simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu on April 7.
