How Ilayathalapthy’s father became a politician

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s father-director S.A. Chandrasekhar has been far-famed for making many political movies. But for the first time, would be seen playing full length role in a movie of such. Guess what? It’s none other than Dhanush starrer ‘Kodi’, a political thriller directed by Durai Senthil Kumar of ‘Ethir Neechal’ and ‘Kaaki Sattai’ fame. This afternoon, the film had the press interaction of ‘Kodi’ and on this occasion, filmmaker Durai Senthilkumar revealed that initially SAC sir was reluctant to take up this film and refused it. Later on the way back home, Durai got a call from Vijay’s father saying that he is going to take up this offer as his wife Shoba mam suggested why did he refuse a project with Dhanush. It looks like SAC will be seen playing the father of twin brothers played by Dhanush.
