Director Venkat Prabhu busy giving finishing touches to the most popular sequel of Chennai 28 II innings expressed his anguish over the unprovoked rumours of him doing the sequel of Saroja.

“It is an absolute baseless rumour. I’m on the verge of giving finishing touches to chennai 28 II innings. My subsequent projects are all set to be announced and this plan of Saroja 2 is not at all in my scheme of things. My concentration is on Chennai 28 II innings now and the focus is on recreate the magic of 2007 again in 2016.
