Last time we saw a comedy actor in Maniratnam film was ‘Alaipayuthey’, where Vivek was included in the cast, but without adding humour shade. He was seen in a much unconventional role and aftermath, we didn’t see any comedy actors in his movies. Nearly 16 years after this beautiful love story, Maniratnam has signed up a comedy actor – RJ Balaji for his untitled next, which features Karthi and Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. Well, this gives a couple of assumptions to make – One is that RJ Balaji could be seen tickling our funny bones in this youthful love story or else we could him in an unconventional role as Vivekh in Alaipayuthey.
