Filmmaker Ranjith was just 2-films old when he would have never envisaged that his next outing would be a surpassing one. It all happened overnight when, it was confirmed that Ranjith will be wielding megaphone for Superstar Rajnikanth’s Kabali and from then onwards, the status of Ranjith had took an unbelievable flight to peaks. With one more month left for the theatrical release of Kabali, the inquisitive thoughts have already popped up on what would be the next after this magnum opus.

Definitely, it is going to be an excess baggage for Ranjith to come up with something better and sensational. If he hadn’t signed Kabali, then the actual plan was to remake of Nivin Pauly’s Oru Vadakkan Selfie with Arya and later Suriya was considered for the role as well. But now, Ranjith wouldn’t go for the same ideas and instead is crafting a new tale that will have a different dimension for Suriya.
