It looks like a power-packed team is on the way to enthrall the Tamil audiences now. The remake of super hit Kannada movie ‘Ulidhavaru Kandante’ is on the make marking the debut directorial of Gautham Ramachandran, a former associate of Rajeev Menon. This untitled film will be the debut of Nivin Pauly playing the lead role in a direct Tamil film.

There was a long pursuit of makers upon getting the right girl to play the female lead role and Shraddha Srinath of latest Kannada hit movie ‘U-Turn’ has been signed for the female lead role. She will be playing the role of a journalist, who is actually the connecting link of all the characters in this investigative thriller. The actress says that initially she wasn’t perfect in her Tamil linguistics, but after a series of home work has managed to get through the auditions and has been finalized for the film.
