While the earlier buzzes were that the shooting will commence by May and would be hitting screens for December, it looks like the shooting will be kick-starting somewhere by middle of this August and would be a summer 2017 release, probably in April. While Anirudh has already started working on the songs, the casting would be complete shortly and it looks like, the entire team is waiting for the call sheet of Santhanam, who is offered to play a substantial role alongside Ajith Kumar in this gangster based film.
