Everything involved with Puli seems to be getting sensational for various reasons. While the makers make an announcement on release of first look, teaser and trailer, there happens to be an unofficial video and poster leaks, which had terribly disappointed Vijay himself. Before few days, there was an announcement from sources of trade circle; Puli will be having a grand release of around 1200 screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

But to a shocking surprise from one of the trade sources, we hear that there are approximately 950 screens in these regions with 900 of them actively getting new releases and rest with second re-release. Although, nothing seems to be officially confirmed on this, we can recollect a similar incident where Vijay fans were reported of creating some imaginary cities like Ribbakudhibba, Kadathaladhari and Paruvaala Gutta, where Telugu dubbed versions of Jilla was declared blockbuster by them. This issue had created a troll and clash among Vijay and Ajith fans as well.
