Vijays Puli sold for RS 8 crores

Ilaiyathalapathi Vijay’s big budget fantasy film Puli has been sold for RS 8 crores to SVR Private limited who will be releasing the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Interestingly, Puli has fetched the highest distribution price for a Vijay film.  Our sources say that Vijay’s previous best was Thuppakki but now Puli has broken the record.

It is worth to mention that same SVR Private Limited released Vijay’s Thuppakki in Andhra Pradesh and they are  planning to release Puli in 1400 screens in the two Telugu speaking states.

Directed by Chimbu Devan, Puli is scheduled to release on September 17.
