Strike comes to an end, shooting resumes in Kollywood

The strike announced by Tamil Film Producers Council has been withdrawn and from today, all the shootings and post-production work will be resumed as usual. The strike was actually announced as Film Employees Federation of South India hiked their pay without any prior information.

But now all the issues have been amicably settled, thanks the series of meeting happened between the high level authorities of both these associations. Because of the strike, there was also a doubt whether Rajini’s new film with Ranjith will begin on time but now as everything is settled, the team will kick start the shooting by first week of August.
