The release of the much awaited magnum – opus film ‘Rudhramadevi’ has yet again been postponed. This trilingual historic film is directed and produced by Gunasekhar. The film is produced under the banner of “Gunaa Team Works” and has a huge Star cast which includes Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, Nithya Menon and Prakash Raj. ‘Isaignani’ Ilaiyaraaja has scored music for this film and Thotta Tharani was roped in as art director.

The final schedule of shoot ended in July 2014 and the official trailer was released in February 2015. Then it was told that Gunashekhar was working on improving VFX. Now he has announced that “In the CG studios across the country and abroad, hundreds of technicians are working for Rudhramadevi to give the best VFX output. It is taking longer than we expected and we regret not being able to meet the release date on the 26th of June” (Sic) mega star Chiranjeevi has lent his voice for this film. Guess it would be a longer wait for Rudhramadevi fans.
