Film promotions are taking all kind of “avatars” thanks to the information technology. The ever booming social media demands creative methods to attract visibility. After trailers and teasers, motion poster for film is a recent effort, which is not recent any more. A talkie motion poster has been designed and released by team Meen, as an act to introduce the project to the social media audience. Hari Baskaran Rathnam who was formerly associated with director Tharani and who is the director of Meen has come up with this inventive idea. The team is thrilled to tag that this is Indian cinema’s first talkie motion poster.
Unlike motion posters which have a poster design with a background music, a talkie motion poster has voices in addition. The Meen talkie poster has music by G.V.Prakash who is also the composer of the film. Kabilan Vairamuthu who will be handling the dialogues and lyrics has written the dialogues for the voices in the talkie poster. The purpose of the poster is to reveal the title of the film, and to introduce two major characters of the film through their dialogues. The first face is portrayed more psychological and the second face more socio-political. The entire story and screenplay of Meen is based on high end investigative journalism. There is multi-dimensional love throughout the screen script.
The team believes that music and dialogues are two pillars for any film, and is even more significant for a pyschological thriller like Meen. The film will have a surprising star cast to be revealed shortly. Meen is being jointly produced by Citram Screens and White horse international. Hari Baskaran and team are planning their first schedule in August.
