Nayantara – Aari starrer Maya, first look from 12th June 5PM. Nayantara is playing the lead in this female -centric supernatural horror thriller. Film revolves around Nayan’s character and her relationship with a child. The film is directed by debutant Ashwin Saravanan. After Nedunchaalai, actor Aari is playing a crucial role in this film. Film title Maya meaning Illusion, also the ghost name in the film is same. Interestingly, Nayanthara’s character in the Ajith-starrer Arrambam was called Maya. Nayantara’s last release was also a horror film Masss.

Thenandal film acquires the distribution rights of Maya, who is the proud distributor of successful horror films released this year. Kanchana-2 and Demonte colony are their super hits in 2015. Aari says, “I play an artist who works for a magazine. It was tough for me to learn to draw because in real life I am a big zero when it comes to art and sketches. The director told me that he could arrange a dupe for the close-up shots alone. But I didn’t want to do that. So, I sought help from the movie’s art director Ramalingam and learnt some basic strokes”. Team is planning to unveil the first look on coming Friday June 12, 5 pm.
