For the Mumbaikar Suriya fans in the country’s cosmopolitan capital city of India, you have a better chance to rub shoulders with your matinee-idol now. Yup! The actor has started working on his next ‘24’ directed by Vikram Kumar in Mumbai. The shooting will extend for nearly 30 days and major portions would be canned in the backdrops of grand set works.

Since, the film is reported to be a sci-fi thriller, lots of CG works and live animations are involved. Samantha plays the female lead role opposite Suriya and this is the second time they’re pairing up together after Lingusamy’s ‘Anjaan’. AR Rahman has started working on the songs and P.S. Vinod who handled cinematography for Vikram Kumar’s ‘Manam’ is cranking camera for this project as well. It looks like the makers have planned to process the post-production works in one of the world’s leading animation studios in Hollywood.
