It’s worth waiting for good things to arrive and in all likelihood, National award winning filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy’s ‘Idam Porul Eval’ seems to be an apt illustration. Thirrupathi Brothers had earlier planned its release on March 27, which was later postponed due to academic examinations and ICC World Cup. Sooner, it was finalised and affirmed that the worldwide theatrical release would happen on May 1. Yet again, on the spur of moment, the decisions have been changed as Thirrupathi Brothers brings Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain on the top of preference and is getting it released on May Day. It looks like the release of Idam Porul Eval might be pushed somewhere to the latter part of the month.

The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Vishnu Vishal, Aishwarya Rajesh and Nanditha in lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music to the lyrical lines of National award winner Vairamuthu.
