There were times in Tamil cinema, when the ‘horror film’ buffs pondered to have at least a single release of this genre in a year. With a sudden fortune striking up, almost every auteur has been ardently crafting the spine-chilling ones for all. With the never-ending queue of releases stretching out, Arulnidhi’s much anticipated ‘Demonte Colony’ gets ready to scare you unconditionally in theaters soon. The latest report is that the entire shooting has been wrapped up and the post-production works have commenced on full swing. The film is directed by debutant Ajay Gnanamuthu, a former associate of AR Murugadoss and is produced by Mohana Pictures in collaboration with Sri Thenandal Films.
The film is based on real life spooky incidents that happened in Chennai before years and is set in the backdrops of Demonte Colony, a house that has been reported of being haunted for centuries. What impresses us more than all factors is about the heroine of this film, which is kept a secret that would be unveiled only on the big screens.
