Poojai is director Hari’s next film after the blockbuster Singam 2. It stars Vishal and Shruti Haasan in the lead. Satyaraj plays an important role which is going to be the best ever in his career. Other cast includes Rathika sarathkumar, Mukesh Tiwari, Jeyaprakash,Soori, Manobala and pratab pothan. Music is taken care by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Priyan while Vishal’s VFF producing the film.

Vishal in a latest interview reveals about a fight sequence at Karaikudi saying, “Shooting fight sequence for Poojai in Karaikudi at the same spot where we shot the bus fight in Sandakozhi 9 yrs back, nostalgia. Kanal Kannan rocks”. Anther tidbit is that Shruti Haasan plays the role of a College going Modern gal in Poojai. Hence we can see her in glamorous outfits. Hari is well known for finishing the films in time as planned, hope we can see Poojai in theaters for this Diwali as announced by the team.
