Yatchan is an action film produced and directed by Vishnuvardhan. The film features Arya and Kreshna in the leading roles. Sandalwood actor Deepa Sannidhi is playing the female lead opposite Arya. The story of the film, written by writer duo Subha is based on a novel of the same name that the pair had written. UTV is producing and Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the film’s music.

The film was launched in April 14 2014. The first schedule of the film was completed in Chennai and second schedule has been wrapped up in Tuticorin. Shooting commenced again with Kreshna and Arya would be joining with the team from next week. Schedule has been planned for 2 weeks. UTV Motion Pictures head, Dhananjayan Govind confirmed this news in social networking. Yatchan is aiming for a Pongal release.
