Director R.Balakrishnan, fondly called Balki, has been busy filming his new project starring Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush in the lead roles. Title of this flick has been revealed today, interestingly it sounds similar to the Bollywood megastar’s name. Yes, the title of this flick is “Shamitabh“. This will also feature Kamal Haasan‘s daughter Akshara Haasan as female lead, who will make her debut in Bollywood.

“We are happy to announce that the film is titled Shamitabh’. As in SH before Amitabh. We are half way through the shoot of the film, so will finish and talk more about it. “Right now, I’m enjoying watching the lethal combo of the intensity of Amitabh Bachchan, the intelligence of Dhanush and the innocence of Akshara in action daily,” Balki said in a statement.

The film’s soundtrack and background score will be composed by Ilaiyaraaja while cinematography will be handled by P. C. Sreeram. Filming of this flick is in progress, and will be releasing in 2015.
