After the blockbuster movie “Thuppaki” released in 2012 A.R.Murugadoss joined hands with Ilayathalapathy Vijay for “Kaththi”. Shoot of this movie has begun from February 3rd shot at Kolkata followed by Hyderabad, Rajahmundry and Chennai airport. April 7th, a huge set has been erected at Chennai and shoot is going on there.

Samantha plays opposite Vijay in this movie and music is composed by Anirudh. This will be the first time for both A.R.Murugadoss and Vijay movie in which Anirudh composes music. George.C.Williams who handled Cinematography for “Raja Rani” is holding on the cam for this movie.

National award winner Lalgudi Ilayaraja, who worked for Vishwaroopam is do the Art works in this movie. Stunt work carried by Anal Arasu and Dancer Shobi, has done the choreography for the song shot till now. Neil Nitin Mukesh of Shortcut Romeo, 3G, David fame will be debuting as a baddie in Kollywood through this movie.

Movie is backed up by Subashkaran of “Lyca Productions Private Limited” in association with K Karunamoorthi of “Ayngaran International”. After this Chennai shoot team will be moving on to Northern parts of India and some overseas for shoot. Team is working hard in wrapping up the shoot by August and movie is scheduled for it’s release for Diwali as like their previous flick Thuppaki.
