The Telugu film “Vengamamba” featuring a plot where “Vengamamba”, a Brahmin girl born at Tharikonda near Tirupathi eventually becomes Sridevi and marries Lord Vishnu and becomes a divine birth is being dubbed in Tamil.

Actress Meena acted in this film for 90 days in the dual roles of Vengamamba and Sridevi herself. Sarath Babu, Sudha, Sana, Kowshik are other important cast. Directed by Udhayabaskar under the production of K.Sekar, T.Gopi, V.Murali and I.V. Subramaniam, the movie did well in Telugu and expected in Tamil as well.
