Is Race 3 breaking the rituals of ‘Race’ franchise?
Last evening, the theatrical trailer of Race 3 was unveiled and it turned to be an amazing reception on all social media platforms. The huge response to the trailer has been the talk of all satellite and online channels. Apparently, we see Salman Khan as the complete macho and action packed hero, where the theatres are sure to go crazy over his screen presence. But then, wasn’t the first instalment of RACE all about mind games rather than brawny sequences. This is the reason, why the film is regarded as the best of all instalments.
Well, things turned out to be a bizarre with the second instalment too, where too much importance was to action sequences alone. Moreover, the twists that come through characters’ backstabbing and double games were more predictable in Race 2. But in the theatrical trailer of Race 3, we find that it has gone beyond all the paradigms and more focus is upon action sequences. Well, there is a tagline – You don’t need enemies, but when you have a family†and we need to wait and watch out how different the writing has been done. Moreover, it’s not Abbas-Mustan duo that had offered enthralling works on screenplay and direction. But let us make it clear – Race was a remake of Hollywood movie ‘Goodbye Lovers’. This could have been the reason, why it became a trendsetting movie in Bollywood for the industry didn’t witness such a script full of twists.
End of the day! It’s Sallu Bhai and theatres will go crazy for his action sequences.
