’Japan’ director’s next with promising team

Director Raju Murugan, the creator of several critically acclaimed movies like Cuckoo witnessed a downfall with his last year release ‘Japan’. The film starring Karthi in the lead role was a box office disaster. Now the director is pinning all hopes on his upcoming project, which is now titled ‘Mother India’.

The film features Sasikumar in the lead role, and Kannada movie Sapta Saagaradha Aache Side B fame Chaitra in the female lead character. The film features musical score by Sean Roldan and is produced by Olympia Movies S Ambeth Kumar, who earlier produced ‘Dada’. The film’s official announcement is expected to be made shortly.
