Well, the trade analysts claimed that the film has a poor opening due to mixed reviews. When the situation looked so bleak, the festival day of Ugadi bought forth a sigh of relief for the theatres as footfalls gradually witnessed a gradual increase. Now the theater owners are keenly looking up for the festive occasion of Eid, where they believe that the coming of crowds will make way for good profits….

The Family Star featuring Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur is a family entertainer, directed by Parasuram, who earlier made the film ‘Geetha Govindam’.
