OMG! Rajinikanth & Ajith Kumar clash in just this small gap?

In 1999, Superstar Rajinikanth and Ajith Kumar had couple of releases together on the same day, which was Padayappa and Vaali. Both the movies turned to be massive hits. Of course, Rajinikanth was a major topper during that point of time. Following this, after decades, both of their releases happened together for the festive occasion of Pongal that includes Petta and Viswasam.

Now it looks like, both their movies ‘Annaatthe’ and ‘Valimai’ will have a similar pattern of release. However, it’s not on the same date, but same month. According to the current reports, it is said that Annatthe will hit screens on April 14, 2021 followed by Valimai during the month end, probably on April 29, 2021.
