Jurassic World Dominion Movie Review
The wait has been long and expectations have been huge! Perhaps, an inevitable one indeed! With the biggest tickets from Hollywood like Spiderman and Doctor Strange installments turning out to be a mere mediocre, the film buffs inquisitively got themselves inclined with deep expectations with this movie. Apparently, this being the last in the franchise, the emotional connection too played a vital part in keeping them imbibed to it.
So what’s the tale all about?
Four years after the crucial event of Isla Nublar, we get to see Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon), the daughter of Charlotte Lockwood, who is now raised by Owen (Chris Patt) and Claire at a cabin in the woods. Sooner, a group of strangers abducts her and the little dinosaur, which leaves the couple devastated. Now they embark on a journey to bring her back that exposes them to the harsh truth about the cruelty of a group that is going to ruin the human race and these endangered creatures.
Since it’s all coming to an end with this franchise, it’s good to brush up on how it all started. The first couple of installments of Jurassic Park proved to be an impeccable masterpiece because of its strong foundation endowed through the novel by Michael Crichton. The third installment, in contrast, when attempted for an Original screenplay failed to make it, and this is where the Jurassic World took its origin. Apparently, the first part was quite a good grosser and so was the next one although the content was quite passable. With this final chapter “Jurassic World Dominion’, we get to see that the content lacks substantiality thoroughly.
The problem with the Jurassic World Dominion is that the screenwriting is too predictable, and we are bound to be boredom even before the first hour is over. The only consoling part is the action sequence in the middle of the movie. The climax is so predictable, and it’s more similar to the climax of the first installment. Even if you’re an ardent buff of this franchise, you might be patient with the emotional connection you carried for years upon this movie.
Overall, Jurassic World Dominion is a disappointing fare that doesn’t either give you good visual treat nor does an engrossing package.
