KGF Chapter 2 Movie Review

The much-awaited big ticket ‘KGF Chapter 2’ has finally arrived in theaters. The fascinating characterization of ‘Rocky Bhai’ kept everyone so much glued to this franchise. Let us check out how well the second installment has performed.

The story needs no description as the ending in the first part itself gave a clear indication of forthcoming moments. Yes, it’s about the Rocky Bhai, who has got KGF under his control, and the faith of the poor and needy there. Well, it’s all about the confrontations with notorious miscreant (Sanjay Dutt) and the Prime Minister (Raveena Tandon), who want him down at any cost.

Director Prashanth Neel’s craftsmanship deserves tons of appreciation. Not every filmmaker has a vision like him. When there is a vision, there is clarity, there is a clear picture of what the script demands and how well it would engage the audience. Prashanth Neel’s KGF vision encapsulates all these elements together in perfection. It’s purely for the lovers of this franchise, who have been relentlessly waiting for the new installment. There’s nothing exceptionally unique from the first part. The visual tone, the backdrops, and the characters are the same, except for the roles played by Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon.

BGM score by Ravi Basrur is an impeccable emblazonment to the movie along with the editing works, which are sleek. The action sequences are the biggest attractions, where the stunts are unimaginably wowing.

The screen presence of Yash never diminishes even for a minute. He retains his charisma throughout the movie. The best cherry-pick scenes would be the face-off moments between him and Sanjay Dutt. The last 30 minutes including the climax and post-credits shot is engrossing.

KGF Chapter 2 is strictly recommended for the fans, who have enjoyed the first part wholeheartedly.
