Dhanush’s Kodi takes two month gap from Kabali

Dhanush fans are quite curious enough to see the matinee idol’s next release, which is long pending. Almost six months post-Thanga Magan, there hasn’t been any new movie from Dhanush and the good news is about the audio and trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Thodari’ happening on June 6. While the theatrical release might happen by July end, there is some confidential reports that Dhanush is planning to release ‘Kodi’ by September. Nevertheless, the actor has completed his portions in post-production work as well.

Kodi is a political thriller featuring Dhanush in dual roles with Trisha and Premam fame Anupama Parameswaran playing the female lead characters. Santosh Narayanan has composed music and ‘Ethir Neechal-Kaaki Sattai’ fame Durai Senthil Kumar has wielded the megaphone.
